Most famous paintings

Reading an article about the Mona Lisa got me thinking about the most famous paintings in the world. Iím not talking about importance or quality or anything like that, just the best known. The ones you can refer to and almost anyone would know what you are talking about. I think the Mona Lisa wins the top spot, with only The Last Supper in close contention, but what are the others? Here is my rather Eurocentric, male-dominated listÖ

Mona Lisa - Leonardo da Vinci
The Last Supper - Leonardo da Vinci
Sistine Chapel ceiling - Michelangelo
Cherub - Raphael
Sunflowers - Vincent van Gogh
Starry Night - Vincent van Gogh
Three Musicians - Pablo Picasso
Campbell's Soup Can - Andy Warhol
Morning Haze - Claude Monet
The Persistence of Memory - Salvador Dali
The Scream - Edvard Munch
The Great Wave Off Kanagawa - Hokusai
Blue Boy - Gainsborough
Whistler's Mother - James Whistler
American Gothic - Grant Wood
Frida Kahlo - Self Portrait With Monkey
Head of a Girl With a Turban - Jan Vermeer (AKA Girl With a Pearl Earring)
Nude Descending Staircase, No. 2 - Marcel Duchamp

What am I missing, or what shouldn't be on that list?

The Kiss - Gustav Klimt
Guernica - Pablo Picasso
Light Iris - Georgia O'Keeffe
Marilyn Munroe - Andy Warhol]

I'm also trying to figure out, what is the most famous Canadian painting? I'm leaning towards Arthur Lismer's A September Gale, Georgian Bay.
